OWNER TRAIN YOUR OWN ASSISTANCE ANIMAL
An assistance dog is any animal that has been trained to alleviate an immediate medical need. Assistance dogs usually work for one person and, as the job they perform is critical, they have public access rights so they can be with their handler at all times.
Our senior trainer, Kay, is uniquely placed to support with all of your assistance dog training needs, no matter your health condition or diagnosis. |
Although NEAT Dogs does not provide fully-trained assistance dogs, Kay will create programmes and teach you handing and training techniques which will be invaluable on your owner-training journey.
A qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, Assistance Dog Trainer and Government-Registered Assistance Dog Public Access Test Assessor, Kay has trained and advised hundreds of assistance dog handlers with a huge variety of needs including medical, physical, psychological and psycho-social. |
